As part of its commitment to put science at the service of social issues and causes, the INSA Foundation has designed a new sponsorship system: the Alliances program. This unprecedented cooperation in higher education, aims to create synergies between the academic, the economic and humanitarian worlds, in order to build a sustainable world. The creation of a dedicated research chair gives each alliance a concrete scientific scope.
Through this tripartite approach, organizations with a social and humanitarian vocation gain access to the INSA laboratory research and to new funding methods. Companies involved in the Alliances program find, for their part, a concrete commitment on issues in phase with the values they stand for. Employees of allied companies and INSA students can be actors of this dynamic by mobilizing themselves with the Alliances program.
To date, 2Alliances have been set up with :
- Handicap International on innovation for the benefit of disabled persons
- ICRC strengthening its capacities to find disappeared persons
